Some people think that using a template means that your site will look like a thousand others. That is certainly the case if you simply use the template, but we take care in customizing the templates so that it no longer looks like it originally did. Here are a couple examples that will show you a Before and After in order to give you a rough idea how a template becomes a final site:
DiscoverSoriano (BEFORE)
DiscoverSoriano (AFTER)
DiscoverSoriano started with the JA Wistery Template by Joomlart.
We completely changed the colors and images. Additionally, we moved the menu to go below the rotating header image, changed the orientation of the side menus, moved the search box, and much more. We chose to overlap the logo ontop of the rotating header image (an effect that can only be seen on the live site) to give it more depth. When it was all said and done, the DiscoverSoriano site no longer resembled the template it began as.
BlueThong Society (BEFORE)
BlueThong Society (AFTER)
Blue Thong Society started with the JA Scenico Template by Joomlart.
In this example you can see how the final site stayed much more true to the original template, and consequently significantly less time was spent on it. Here you see the changes are mostly limited to graphics and the general color scheme, but this site really has the BlueThong look and feel, not somethign that feels canned.
